First item: don’t know bout you, but im growing weary of
all the bs from wash dc concerning perhaps, maybe, possibly
ending the iraq war. There is only one way this war will end.
When American oil companies are guaranteed control over iraqs
oil. the bush cabal will fight until your last loved one is dead
to maintain control over iraqs oil. the democratic leadership as
well as anointed presidential candidates hillery and obama are
in complete agreement. They are bs-ing all of us. The simple
truth is that we invaded iraq in order to control their oil and
we aint leaving until we are guaranteed control of that oil.
period, end of story. Weather that guarantee comes in the form
of an Iraqi govt stable enuff to deliver its oil to American oil
companies, or at the end of our troops bayonets is immaterial.
We get their oil, or else. We are now living and our troops are
dying, in or else. So, as you walk around the nev co
county fair and come upon tributes to our fallen warriors,
please do not for one moment believe they died for any other
reason than American oil companies greed. Have you checked what
you are paying for your gasoline today, while American oil
companies report record profits quarter after quarter? Wake up
folks, you are being had, and your loved ones are dying for oil
company greed.
So, ,lets start out with king geo latest brilliant maneuver
in his war in iraq. What is the only area in all of bagdad that
is trouble free? The suburb of sadr city, policed by the militia
of muktada sadr, such that there is relatively no sectarian
violence. It’s the only area of bagdad without civil war. So
where is king geo now sending his bombers and troops to raise
hell? You guessed it. Sadr city. What a terrific idea. lets aim
our bombers and send and our troups into the most peaceful part
of Baghdad, to kill and be killed, on yet another absurd and
fruitless mission. Yet another demonstration that what we really
want in iraq is civil war, so that whatever Iraqis remain alive
after ths carnage beg us to stay.
Next item: Hey, those of you with still intact memories:
remember the last presidential election farce? All those
instances of election fraud in The pivotal state of ohio? The
story has taken a new and farcical twist. It seems that in spite
of federal and state laws, orders from a judge, and various
other safeguards, the evidence of vote counting irregularities
in ohio has been shredded. Ooops, there goes the evidence. This
article by By Bob Fitrakis and Harvey Wasserman pub in
Online Journal is titled : The criminal cover-up of Ohio's
stolen 2004 election sinks to the fraudulent, the absurd, the
pathetic
The illegal destruction of federally protected 2004 election
materials by 56 of 88 Ohio counties has become a fraudulent
"dog ate my homework" farce of absurd justifications
and criminal cover-ups.
The mass elimination of the critical evidence that could
definitively prove or disprove the presumption that the 2004
election was stolen has all the markings of a Rovian crime
perpetrated to hide another one. But what makes the situation
downright pathetic is that Ohio's new Democratic secretary of
state, Jennifer Brunner, has publicly stated she sees "no
evidence" of intentional destruction in the disappearance
in more than 60 percent of the state's counties of the ballots
from the 2004 presidential election.
So once again, as did Al Gore in 2000 and John Kerry in 2004,
the Democrats seem poised to cave to the ongoing GOP coup that
has redefined America, and that now involves the criminal
destruction of contested evidence in one of the most
controversial vote counts in US history.
But a series of excuses that range from the lame to the
pathetic to the obviously criminal have left us shocked --
shocked! -- to learn that despite the protection of established
federal law, a federal court order, long-standing Ohio laws, two
directives from the Ohio Secretary of State's office, and legal
notification letters from plaintiff's attorneys to hold the
evidence, a precise recount of Ohio's stolen 2004 election may
no longer be possible.
In short, Brunner has informed us that 56 of Ohio's 88
counties have mostly "inadvertently" destroyed all or
some of their records from the 2004 presidential election. Are
we surprised? Wait 'til you hear how these mostly Republican
directors say it happened! The article goes on to innumerate
all the excuses for the shredding of the election records. The
authors are correct. The excuse do range from fraudulent to
absurd to pathetic. The one thing they share in common is that
none of them is even slightly believable. In short, the evidence
of massive vote counting fraud in ohio’s presidential election
has been conveniently destroyed. Ooops. There goes our
democracy.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) tries too hard to appear
moderate or centrist. In her apparent fear of being labeled with
the "L-word [1]", she often crosses over
[2] into dangerous territory.
She did it again yesterday, when she voted [3] in
favor of Judge Leslie H. Southwick, a known racist and
homophobe, for a seat on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in
Mississippi.
According to an article by the Leadership Conference on
Civil Rights [4], "Judge Leslie H. Southwick, a former
Mississippi state court judge nominated to the U.S. Court of
Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, has provoked serious concern from
civil rights groups who say that his record calls into question
regarding his commitment to equal justice and his willingness to
protect the rights of workers, consumers and other vulnerable
parties."
The article outlines several cases that demonstrate
Southwick's troubling record. Read it and be outraged: the

Another Attempt at Judicial Activism. It ends with the
opinion Mississippi does not need another bigot in power.
Sen. Feinstein should be ashamed of herself.
Next item: after the above was written, sen Feinstein went
from incompetent to down right dangerous, as she was the
featured spokesperson for a truly evil piece of legislation. I
refer to the congress caving in once more to the bush cabal and
allowing the absurd wiretap program to continue. Good ole diane
seemingly swallowed the bush cabal explanation that we need to
wire tap citizens phones and examine their emails without court
orders, or any supervision or discression whatsoever, the excuse
being in order to catch terrorists. Lets take a moment to
examine this logic, something sen diane Feinstein obviously did
not do. diane and king geo want us to believe that a terrorist
will pick up a phone or send an email saying hey abdul, ive
got some dynamite, lets blow up a building next Tuesday. Or,
I just got my pilots license. Lets hijack an airliner and crash
it into a large building. These are the same terrorists who
the govt wants us to believe were clever enuff to hijack 4
airliners and fly them into tall buildings, but they are so
stupid as to reveal their plans by phone or email. This onerous
legislation has nothing to do with terrorists. It has everything
to do with surveillance of us citizens who might be unhappy
enuff with the fascist takeover of our country to want to do
something about it. So for those of you naïve enuff to vote for
hillary Clinton or diane Feinstein, simply because they are
women, please wake up. There are incompetent and evil
politicians of both sexes. Please vote for candidates based on
their principles, ethics, and plans for our nation, and not just
their genitals.
Next item: law enforcement found a 3rd large scale
cannabis garden growing in the yuba canyon off of independence
trail, and the gv union slavishly reported sherrifs lt bill
evans tired old speculations as facts. in fact, since its
exactly the same quote word for word in each of the articles, we
don’t even know if evans is repeating himself on 3 different
occasions, or the union is using the same quote all 3 times. one
comment from a reader pretty well sums it up. Why can't the
union just report the news without editorializing? Three busts,
three articles, and three completely unsupported claims of ties
to meth. sheriffs lt bill evens once again is quoted as
speculating that the profits from the local gardens are used to
finance large methamphetamine laboratories. How do we know the
reverse is not true and they are actually using the profits from
their southern california meth labs to fund these pot gardens?
Absolutely no evidence of whose garden this was except the size,
but it's assumed to be mexican cartels. Well maybe it is and
maybe it isn't, but without a shred of evidence that's called
RACISM. The Union will never be anything but an embarrassment to
the community until they send their reporters (and editors) to
journalism school. But it'll probably take them being sued
before that'll happen.
Related item: as I was completing todays comementary, this
mornings gv union reports yet another bust of a large cannabis
garden, this one near the town of Washington. Finally the union
quotes someone other than sherrifs lt bill evans, and this dea
source did not mention the tired ole speculation that pot
growing finances meth labs. He even substituted the label
Mexican mafia for cartels. But the unions headline for the
article was pot bust tied to Mexican mafia. Sorry folks,
that’s still not fact, that’s law enforcement speculation.
So the union seems to be trying but they still don’t get the
distinction between speculation and fact.
Next item: ok, todays silliness from our nations capital: the
newes tickler said bush committed to tracking al quida. I
had hoped it simply said bush committed, but that would be too
good to be true. CAMP DAVID, Md. (AP) -- President Bush said
Monday that with the right intelligence U.S. and Pakistan
governments can take out al-Qaida leaders, and wouldn't say
whether he would consult first with Pakistan before ordering
U.S. forces to act on their own. "With real actionable
intelligence, we will get the job done," Bush said. He was
asked whether he would wait on permission from Pakistani
President Gen. Pervez Musharraf before committing the U.S.
military to move on "actionable intelligence" on the
whereabouts of terrorist leaders in Pakistan. He did not answer
directly. Oh goodie, now king geo is thinking about waging
war on Pakistan. First Afghanistan, then iraq, what the hell,
why not one more? Oh yeah, one final point. Didn’t king geo
not so very long ago claim that he was not even interested in
finding bin laudin? What has changed except bushs desperate
attempt to switch the public focus off of his corrupt
administration? Lets threaten yet another foolish war and see if
the media bites. Well it worked, I commented on it didn’t I?
Next item: according to David Swanson writing in smirking
chimp.com,, there are now 34 Congress Members who have signed on
as co sponsors of dennis kucinich’s bill calling for
Impeachment of vp dick cheney
For reasons unknown, rep john conley has not signed on, even
tho he hinted weeks ago that if more than the original 11
signed, he would allow the bill out of his comittee. Speaker of
the House Nancy Pelosi, who has opposed impeachment since May
2006, aso refuses to sign on, but this week said that if she
were not the Speaker she would probably be backing impeachment.
Did you get that? Good for you cause I sure didn’t understand
it. Is this leadership or what?
Next item: Mondays npr news had the following item. The
british govt, claiming the need for increased vigilance after
the recent London and Glasgow bombings has greatly increased
surveillance of its citizens and the figures of citizens stopped
for interrogation runs into the thousands, with only 27 actually
apprehended, and of those 27 scotland yard had no idea if any
would actually be charged. Does this sound like a witch hunt to
frighten the public? Add to this the fact that the Glasgow
bombing consisted of nothing more than someone ramming a car
laden with explosives into a building at the Glasgow airport.
One wag commented thusly: only one car blown up? That’s a
quiet day on any new york freeway. So, do we really have
terrorism in Britain, or do we have the british govt
manufacturing terrorist incidents in order to further their
fascist control over their sheepish people? I report, you
decide.
Next item: you got to admire the chutzpah with which the bush
crowd fights the propaganda campaign around the iraq war. King
george and his minions want the world to believe that the nasty
Iranians are supplying weapons to the Iraqi insurgents. One
small problem. A us govt study just released states that over
30% of the arms the united states supplied to the Iraqi govt and
army have gone missing. Cannot be accounted for. Another news
report claimed that this includes over 100,000 assault rifles.
whoops. Now where did all that armament go? Humm. Lets see now.
We gave Massive quantities of weaponry to the iraq govt,
armaments which have now gone missing and cant be accounted for,
meanwhile, other Iraqis are mortaring, rocketing and shooting at
us, and blowing up our vehicles with roadside bombs, Do you
suppose there might be a connection between these two phenomena?
Naah. Cant be. It must be the fault of the nasty Iranians.
