Apr 18 commentary
Combine these two:
There is a crisis in health freedom. On April 30, 2007 the
FDA will close the public comment period on a
"Guidance" which will classify every alternative
practice as medicine so that only licensed physicians can carry
out the procedure AND vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc., will
suddenly become "untested drugs" which will be
forbidden.
Bad? Real Bad! But public outcry can stop this assault on your
health and your freedom.
Spread the word! Tell everyone in your Circle of Influence,
professionals, alternative practitioners, nutrient and herb
companies, everyone! Let them know how important their
participation is to make sure the FDA backs off from this
repressive course.

Regulators Using Legal Trickery to Kill Alternative Procedures
and Products
The FDA is using legal maneuvering to end your access to
natural health products (like vitamins, minerals and herbs) and
natural health therapies of all sorts. Again. This time, their
ploy is to declare the therapies are "Medicine" so any
non-physician who uses them will be practicing medicine without
a license. Since these practices are "Medicine", any
products used would be untested drugs and therefore forbidden.
Your Comments are Vitally Important
Public, professional and industry comments are being accepted
on the FDA proposal to "capture" alternative
procedures and products as "medicine" and then make
them illegal. The history of these repressive attacks by the FDA
makes it clear that public outcry, IN HUGE NUMBERS, is the only
effective tool that natural health supporters have to change
this disastrous outcome. Comments will be accepted until April
30. By contacting everyone you can reach to ask for their
participation in this comment campaign, we can kill this assault
on personal health freedom.
Next item: Great short two minute video, narrated
by Aaron Russo (who by the way is an Italian American Jew) who
refutes beautifully just how manipulative the American media is
in propagandizing Americans into believing that Iranian
President Ahmadinejad said he wanted to "wipe Israel off
the map." Russo links you to CSPAN which shows
Ahmadinejad's exact words and Russo shows how even 60 minutes
censored the most important part of Ahmadinjad's speech, which
dispels the myth that Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map.
Here is just a short transcript of Ahmadinejad's speech
and what the American media intentionally suppressed:
"The Iman said, this regime occupying Jerusalem,
must vanish from the page of time. [So if one said, "the
Bush regime occupying the White House must vanish from the page
of time." Then I guess anyone who wants to see Bush
Impeached could be accused of wanting America to be wiped off
the map. What propaganda! What a bunch of horse****!]
Here is more of what he said and was censored:
"I think that the Israeli government is a fabricated
government and I have talked about the solution. The solution is
democracy. We have said allow Palestinian people to
participate in a free and fair referendum to express their
views. What we are saying only serves the cause of durable
peace. We want durable peace in that part of the world. A
durable peace will only come about with once the views of the
people are met. -Iranian President Ahmadinejad
Next item. So shock jock don imus got fired. He managed to
denigrate a college womans basketball team in two ways in a
single sentance. He called them nappy headed, which of course
refers derogatorily to their race, and he called them ho’s,
which is common slang for whores. I find it interesting that the
major complaint is over the racial slur, and not the allegation
that they rent out their bodies for sexual purposes. Now im not
black and im not a woman, but I cant help but think that the
whore comment is far more injurious than the racial slur. Funny
that the media focuses on one while ignoring the other. Here is
another take on the imus episode, off of my favorite astrology
site, thecosmicpath.com: A few weeks back, during the Walter
Reed scandal, Imus went absolutely CRAZY about the generals and
the administration’s neglect of the wounded soldiers. Of
course, the eclipses were setting off his chart. Imus does an
enormous amount of fundraising for wounded vets among his other
charities. Imus IS a vet ~ with a loud and clear voice and a
wide-ranging audience, fairly conservative and an older white
guy. GE, a major defense contractor, owns MSNBC. First Dan
Rather with those papers about George going AWOL, was silenced,
and now Imus.. These folks are good. They even got a leftie
group, Media Matters, to coordinate the hit. Nothing like a
bunch of lefties taking out a major voice criticizing the
administration‘s behavior. She then got further into politics.
From thecosmicpath.com: Of course, with all this activity we
need to look a smidge deeper to notice what the Imus distraction
obscures from being covered by the press. Whenever there is one
of these corporate media frenzies, I check what political
situation is being ignored (on purpose?). It appears there are
"missing emails" in the US Attorney firings. Oops!
Karl happened to hit his delete key. Congress wants his emails?
Mr. Rove and his merry band of at least 50 other folks using GOP
provided computer equipment and email servers managed to lose
their emails! The point of using GOP provided computer equipment
was to avoid complying with the Hatch law to preserve
presidential papers and, of course, emails, in their official
government computers. However, they WERE at their government
desks, in their role as a government employee and sending those
emails during their day-to-day work or activities.
Looks like "missing emails" will be our version of the
18 minutes of erased tape from the Nixon Watergate era , Fawn
and Ollie shredding documents in the basement during the
Iran-Contra era and, to be non-partisan, sperm on a blue dress
in Clinton‘s era. I thought Senator Leahey was going to pop a
blood vessel when he found out the White House deleted the
emails! It was a classic dog ate their email account moment.
Should Patrick Fitzgerald re-open his Plame leak investigation
now that we know the boys have secondary email accounts?
Nothing to fear, IF the GOP deletes emails the way they handle
the war and Katrina, the missing emails will be found! Once on
the internet, always on the internet! Congress only needs an
excellent forensics computer searcher. OR, perhaps we can access
the missing emails using the NSA data mining stuff collected by
yet another part of our government. I would LOVE that! And, I
bet that once we get INTO searching around in Karl’s and his
merry boys email accounts, who knows what we might find? .
Next item: Gov. Bill Richardson recently signed a bill that
makes New Mexico the 12th state in the Union to allow medical
use of marijuana. However they went further than any previous
state by deciding that instead of just allowing the
compassionate medical practice, new mexico would get into the
business of producing and distributing the herb, something
Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Montana, Nevada,
Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington have not quite come
to grips with. In New Mexico, you will soon be able to go to
your doctor who, if it's appropriate, will write a prescription
for medicinal cannabis. The patient will then make a purchase
through a state-regulated facility. No more argument about how
many plants a medical marijuana patient may cultivate, no more
arguments about the compassionate shops that sell cannabis even
though they face the risk of federal drug agents raiding their
legal stores, no more concern that those who use the drug are
also cultivating it for sale. Stay tuned. This could get really
interesting.
