02/25/06 -- -- The bombing of a revered Shiite shrine
which sparked a wave of violence in Iraq was the work of
specialists, Construction Minister Jassem Mohammed Jaafar said
Friday, adding that the placing of the explosives must have
taken at least 12 hours. "According to initial reports, the
bombing was technically well conceived and could only have been
carried out by specialists," the minister told Iraqia state
television. Jaafar, who toured the devastated thousand-year-old
shrine on Thursday a day after the bombing which brought down
its golden dome, said "holes were dug into the mausoleum's
four main pillars and packed with explosives." "Then
the charges were connected together and linked to another charge
placed just under the dome. The wires were then linked to a
detonator which was triggered at a distance," the minister
added. To drill into the pillars would have taken at least four
hours per pillar, he also estimated. Let me add that his time
estimate is probably based on technology the Iraqis have and he
is familiar with. If foreign powers perpetrated this in order to
foment civil war, as I speculated last week, these foreign
specialists might have vastly superior drilling equipment and
techniques. I also reinterate what I said last week. If Iraqis
blew it up, to kill other Iraqis, they would have done it on a
Friday for maximum killing effect. It happened on a wed.

eyewitnesses near the bombed Dome: Witness
1: I live in a district very near
to the mosque and I will tell you exactly what I saw hours
before the bombing. There is a daily curfew in our city (Samarra)
starts from 8,00 in the evening until 6,00 in the morning, in
the night before the bombing and just when it’s getting dark
there was unusual activities by the ING in the area around the
mosque, I heard their cars the whole night until next day in the
morning. The Mosque Guards testimony says: Four people with ING
uniforms blind folded them and set the bombs. The witness
continues, so ask I you how could the terrorists enter the area
which is usually surrounded by the ING and enter the mosque then
runaway without being got by the police?.

stopped in name only and has quietly continued within the
intelligence agency now fending off charges that it has violated
the privacy of U.S. citizens,.
The publication cited documents it had obtained and intelligence
sources. It seems that the names of key projects were changed,
apparently to conceal their identities, but their funding
remained intact, often under the same contracts, the Journal
said.
next item: more and more conservatives are coming out of the
wood work to question the wisdom of the neo con misadventure in
iraq. Add William f buckley to the list. I wont read you the
article as he has essentially come to the same conclusion as
most listeners have months ago, but it is notable that his
writings are read by quite a different crowd than most of my

Next item: this excerpt form a lengthy article on the
mysteries surrounding the oak city bombing. One trove of
hitherto unseen FBI documents cropped up on the eve of Timothy
McVeigh's execution in 2001, delaying his death at the federal
death row facility in Terre Haute, Ind., by almost a month. More
were leaked to John Solomon, a Washington-based Associated Press
reporter, in 2004 -- including a Secret Service file
containing the extraordinary revelation that government agents
had access to security videotapes of the Murrah Building in
which "the suspects" (more than one) are seen exiting
the Ryder truck containing the bomb three minutes before the
explosion.. may I remind listeners that the govt has never
publically admitted that there were any security videotapes of
that event, when everyone working in downtown oak city knows
there were plenty, exactly as the govt claims that there were no
security videotapes around the world trade center or the
pentagon. Funny thing that. We can send men to the moon, but we
cant seem to produce a security video camera that works when we
need it, and we cant seem to produce black boxes for airliners
that survive suspicious crashes. They work fine in non
suspicious crashes, but always seem to fail or cant even be
located in the suspicious crashes. Curious eh?.
Next item: just something to think about. The American
economy is highly dependant upon the automotive industry. And
for years, that industry has been so out of touch with the
purchasing desires of its own people that the Japanese have
taken over the American market, so much so that we now have
Japanese car companies building factories here in America to
produce their cars, and employing American workers to build
them. How the mighty have fallen.
Next item: local news of note: remember that big mj bust up
on san juan ridge last harvest season? the feds enlisted help
from every local law enforcement agency except the tax collector
and humane society, and raided 5 properties owned by the same
local family. it created quite a stir amongst local farmers, and
many harvested early in panic before the cavalry arrived. in
mondays gv union, it was reported that the feds decided not to
prosecute. here are excerpts from that story.
Federal prosecutors have decided that 40 pounds of processed
marijuana buds, 80 mature plants and a dozen firearms are not
sufficient evidence to prosecute. Instead, the men accepted a
plea deal this week with the United States District Attorney.
Under the agreement, prosecution of the charges will be deferred
until Dec. 31 of this year. If the men fulfill the conditions of
the deferment, the indictments against them will be dismissed.
As part of the conditions, the folks are barred from
maintaining their greenhouses, which must remain uncovered.
Their properties are subject to search without a warrant by the
Nevada County Sheriff's Office; however, the interiors of their
homes are not subject to warrantless searches.
The men will have to submit to drug or alcohol testing. They
will not have to forfeit their property, and they must not
violate any federal, state or local law.
Federal spokeswoman Patty Pontello said the quantities seized
were not sufficient to warrant prosecution.
About 60 people participated in the raid. This included
Agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency; sheriff's offices
from Nevada, Yuba, Placer and El Dorado counties; and the
California Highway Patrol.

Sgt. Bill Evans of the Sheriff's Narcotics Task Force was
quoted: "A rumor got out that a big raid was about to
happen,". "We believe, because of that rumor, there

Sherlock. Further comment. After all that hullabaloo, I think
the accused got off surprisingly easy. Im not surprised that
local law enforcement would not prosecute, as they have their
heads straight that meth is the problem here and not pot, but
the feds? The feds showing some common sense? 40 pounds of our
favorite weed and that’s not enuff to prosecute? Who can
figure? Methinks There must be more to this story. .

Its so local its right here in my computer. Email is supposed to
be instantaneous isn’t it? Send it and it arrives in minutes,
right? Well, for several months now, I have been receiving most
emails the same day they were sent, BUT some mysteriously take
up to a week to arrive. If it was an advertisement for penis
enlargement I didn’t really mind. 3 feet longer this week,
next week, who cares? But if it was an invite to a wild party,
and I received it 2 days after the party, that’s not so
acceptable. And there seemed to be no pattern to what got thru
immediately and what was delayed for 5-7 days. Well last week it
got really interesting. Those of you whose memories are not
severely impaired will recall that on last weeks show I offered
to send a lengthy article on 911 to whomever requested. It.
Scores of you sent me email requests. A few got thru that first
day. Many more were delayed by a several days. Im still
receiving requests, all sent last week. This morns mail had 3
sent 5 days ago, 1 sent 7 days ago. All these emails had 911 in
their subject line. Now im not entirely paranoid, at least not
yet, BUT, I am beginning to wonder why im receiving so many
emails delayed by 5-7 days. I had a friend examine the headers
for clues but he saw nothing. So here is my request. If any
listener is really knowledgeable at deciphering the header atop
emails, or has any other ways to unravel this mystery, I would
really appreciate hearing from you. I could send you the headers
to examine. When I asked my service provider if some govt agency
had the ability to intercept emails and if they wanted to do so,
would my provider cooperate, or would they even know about it.
they assured me it wasn’t happening. BUT, they had no
explanation for the delay. Any of you experience similar delays
or having your emails eaten by space aliens? Any help would be
appreciated. Im not worried that my plethora of terrorist plans
are being observed by the govt, but I sure as hell don’t want
to miss any more parties.

Next item: a listener sent me an interesting perspective on
life: its backwards. The most unfair thing about life is the way
it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time.
What do you get in the end of it? A death. What's that, a bonus?
I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first,
you know, start out dead, get it out of the way. You wake up in
an old age home, feeling better every day. You get kicked out
for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then, when you
start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work 30
years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You
drink alcohol, you party, you're generally promiscuous (hey,
you've only got a few years left, what's the big deal?!?) and
you get ready for High School. You go to primary school, you
become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become
a baby, then, you spend your last 9 months floating peacefully
with luxuries like central heating, spa, room service on tap,
larger quarters everyday, and then you finish off as an orgasm!
