For those of you still not familiar with the commentaries of mark stannerar, here is a gem from his last weeks take on the fragility of American economics: "The most secure job in the world right now appears to be harassing American credit card customers from a phone bank in New Delhi."

You may not always agree with marks take on things, but you have to admire his way with words. The man is a true wordsmith.

Next item: Hey don t look now but someone woke al gore up from his years long slumber. Or maybe it was john kerry. Forgive me but I really cant tell the difference between the two. They each occasionally venture forth from their cave, utter something that rank and file democrats have been pleading with them for months if not years to say, and then retreat back into their caves and return to doing nothing. Why do they occasionally talk like the leaders they are not? my guess is that they simply want folks to not forget them. Anyway, one or the other of them actually came out and made a statement regarding the bush cabal’s blatant breaking the law and shredding the us constitution by spying on us citizens without court order. Ok, one or the other said it. Now what? Will the democrats actually act like an opposition party? Will they as a cohesive group raise some hell, or will they twiddle their thumbs while a few rogue dems continue to courageously raise the important issues? You know, this issue about domestic spying may actually go somewhere, and not because of the democratic party. This transgression is so egregious that even some republicans, the few who still retain some sense of ethics and respect for the constitution, are growing concerned over the naked abuse of power by the bush neocons. Is it possible that even the bush neo cons have gone too far, and enuff legislators will have the cojones to actually oppose them and reign them in a bit? We shall see. We may also see some really juicy story turn up to deflect attention from this latest fascist maneuver. How bout leaking some story about our planning to bomb iran? That might be sufficient to relegate domestic spying to the back pages.

Next item: don’t be too shocked but I have some good news to report. the abramoff bribery scandal is shaking some really rotten fruit out of the congressional tree. One of the most significant to fall is congressman bob ney of ohio. He was chairman of some important committee and as chair managed to bottle up important legislation so that it never reached a vote. Just another example of how our system is rigged against any chance of govt by the people actually functioning..

Another bit of good news. The supreme court ruled that the people of Oregon can have physician assisted suicide. The citizens of Oregon voted for it, some appellate court ruled against it, but the supremes upheld it. Gives us hope that the supremes, even with bush appointing seemingly right wing ideologs, once they sit on the bench, may not always rule as the neo cons expect.

Next item: I think ive covered the discrepancies in the govt ver of 911, but if anyone wants to see a video, or show it to skeptical friends, go towww.painfuldeceptions.com and download their video. Its 1 hr 23 min long. And it covers most of the major points.

The major point to this is that most detractors of alternate theories of the hows and whys concerning 911 usually state that if these alternative theories, had any validity there would be information available to back them up. The answer of course, is that there is voluminous info available, the problem being that mainstream media refuses to adequately report it. Finally please keep firmly in mind that the govt version is also nothing more than a series of theories, backed by officious pomposity, and very officially sounding reports, but theories non the less. And if one dispassionately examines the evidence and the obvious coverup of evidence, the truth begins to reveal itself.

Final coment: ive been informed by my webmaster that he is off somewhere, doing something, and will not be updating my website until the end of the month. So if th ewebsite seems to lag for a few weeks that’s why. I hope he is smart enuff to be off to someplace warm and dry.
