First tiem: You got to love geo bush. He is establishing once
and for all that the concept of congressional checks and
balances is completely null and void. Congress opposes the
installation of john Bolton as ambassador to the UN? For 5 long
months? No problem says king george. I’ll appoint him anyway,
congress be damned. And indeed they are damned. Congress is
about as ineffectual today as teats on a bull. We get Lots of
noise, no results. As willie shakespere once wrote: much sound
and thunder, signifying nothing.

Next item: top story on todays npr news was the exciting
story of the space shuttle repairing their space craft. Wasn’t
their once some story about something called the downing st
memos? Didn’t that have something to do with our invasion o f
iraq and afganistan? Geo bush and tony blair lying their asses
off? Anyone recall that story? I thought not. Id much rather
hear about astronauts repairing their space craft. Now that’s
exciting news.
READ LONDON TIMES OPINION PIECE
Next item: Its so interesting what is really happening while
we are seeing and reading what is presented to us as THE NEWS.
Remember back when the whole homeland security apparatus was
foisted upon us? It’s mission was to combat foreign terrorism
wasn’t it? Protect us from another 9-11. foreign bad guys out
to destroy our precious way of life. Well guess what? According
to travis t hipp, Homeland security has been in action recently
while we have been focusing on the London bombings and the cops
very publicly chasing the bad guys. And what foreign terrorists
have homeland security been focused on? The first targets have
been, get this: Americans who have been convicted of sex crimes
and then failed to register as sex offenders. Wow, what a
service to the American people. who could complain about that?
Removing from our midst a group everyone agrees are the scum of
our society. And just recently, homeland security went after
urban gang members. They rounded up hundreds of inner city kids,
alleged gang members. Another slam bang triumph. Rid our streets
of criminal elements. Making our cities and streets safe again.
Who would complain about that? Only one small problem. Remember
pastor neimuller of 1930’s germany? Recall what he said? I don’t
have his exact quote, and if someone could send it to me id like
to have it on file, but he said something like: first they came
after the communists, but I said nothing, for I was not a
communist. Then they came after the trade unionists, but I said
nothing because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came after
the homosexuals and again I said nothing, for I was not
homosexual. He went thru the whole list, incl jews, and gypsies,
and ended with, finally when they came after me, there was no
one left to say anything. Get the picture folks? Hi there ,
we are from homeland security and we are here to protect you.

is interesting as it is a disclaimer for what follows. It seems
that Prince machevelli would be proud to live in our times.
We post this but note: the powers that be are
growing increasingly concerned over the independent Internet
and, in an attempt to discredit it and reduce its growing
influence, are starting to disseminate patently false reports.
The aim being that these reports will be picked up by
independent websites and circulated, thereby diminishing their
credibility when the reports are ultimately revealed as false.
Like an earlier Sorcha Faal article,
which had already been posted on this website and removed
shortly thereafter, these reports serve to dimish the increasing
power of the Internet and, above all, its credibility. Ed.
here is the article the web site disclaims:Bush and Cheney
Indicted
U.S. federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald's Chicago grand
jury has issued perjury and obstruction of justice indictments
to the following members of the Bush Administration: President
George W. Bush, Vice-President Richard Cheney, Bush Chief of
Staff Andrew Card, Cheney Chief of Staff I. Lewis
"Scooter" Libby, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez,
former Attorney General John Ashcroft, imprisoned New York Times
reporter Judith Miller and former Senior Cheney advisor Mary
Matalin.
There were no indications given as to whether the President and
his top staff members would appear publicly before cameras at
the grand jury proceedings, given the gravity of the charges
SO IS THIS INFO OR DISINFO?
Next item: lets talk about the American media. Some say its
in sad shape. I suspect it is operating exactly as its owners
and masters wish it to operate. I say it is designed to create
and maintain fear in the populace, and its working brilliantly.
And my question for myself and for you, is simply this: does my
show increase your awareness of the forces influencing you, or
does it simply increase your fear level? Am I serving to support
or combat the fear tactics of the media and the govt?
Next item: a word about medical mj. I find it interesting
that the critics of med mj always claim that some people use mj
recreationally implying that this is a terrible practice and
such users should rot in hell. Lets look at that for a moment.
Say someone uses mj recreationally. What is the result? they
relax. They smile a lot, their heart is more open, they are
kinder and more gentle to their family and friends. Is this not
healthy? Is this not medicinal use of the highest order? What
could be more therapeutic than to use a substance and become a
more relaxed, happier more loving person? And yet, we are asked
to believe that such usage is bad, the users evil. What an
incredible distortion of reality. I say horray for the
recreational use of anything and everything that harms no one,
and increases pleasure. The world needs more pleasure. We all
do. Please remember that my opinions are my own. You are free to
form your own. Life liberty and the persuit of happiness, and
all that jazz.

Government Uses Color Laser Printer Technology to Track
Documents Practice embeds hidden, traceable data in every page
printed.
WASHINGTON--Next time you make a printout from your color
laser printer, shine an LED flashlight beam on it and examine it
closely with a magnifying glass. You might be able to see the
small, scattered yellow dots printed there that could be used to
trace the document back to you.
According to experts, several printer companies quietly
encode the serial number and the manufacturing code of their
color laser printers and color copiers on every document those
machines produce. Governments, including the United States,
already use the hidden markings to track counterfeiters.
Peter Crean, a senior research fellow at Xerox, says his
company's laser printers, copiers and multifunction
workstations, such as its WorkCentre Pro series, put the
"serial number of each machine coded in little yellow
dots" in every printout. The millimeter-sized dots appear
about every inch on a page, nestled within the printed words and
margins.
"It's a trail back to you, like a license plate,"
Crean says.
The dots' minuscule size, covering less than one-thousandth
of the page, along with their color combination of yellow on
white, makes them invisible to the naked eye, Crean says. One
way to determine if your color laser is applying this tracking
process is to shine a blue LED light--say, from a keychain laser
flashlight--on your page and use a magnifier.
Laser-printing technology makes it incredibly easy to
counterfeit money and documents, and Crean says the dots, in use
in some printers for decades, allow law enforcement to identify
and track down counterfeiters.
However, they could also be employed to track a document back
to any person or business that printed it. Although the
technology has existed for a long time, printer companies have
not been required to notify customers of the feature.
Lorelei Pagano, a counterfeiting specialist with the U.S.
Secret Service, stresses that the government uses the embedded
serial numbers only when alerted to a forgery. "The only
time any information is gained from these documents is purely in
[the case of] a criminal act," she says.
John Morris, a lawyer for The Center for Democracy and
Technology , says, "That type of assurance doesn't really
assure me at all, unless there's some type of statute." He
adds, "At a bare minimum, there needs to be a notice to
consumers."
If the practice disturbs you, don't bother trying to disable
the encoding mechanism--you'll probably just break your printer.
Neither Crean nor Pagano has an estimate of how many laser
printers, copiers, and multifunction devices track documents,
but they say that the practice is commonplace among major
printer companies.
"The industry absolutely has been extraordinarily
helpful [to law enforcement]," Pagano says.
Humor at end:
The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the
creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have
to actually answer the questions. Just read straight through and
you'll get the point.
Name the five wealthiest people in the world. Name the last five
Heisman trophy winners. Name the last five winners of the Miss
America. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer
Prize. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best
actor and actress. Name the last 10 winners of the World Series
, or the super bowl. ok,. How did you do?
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.
These are not second-rate achievers. They are the best in their
fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are
forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their
owners.
Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one: List a few
teachers who aided your journey through school.
Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile. Think
of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
Think of five people you enjoy spending time with. Easier?
The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are
not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the
most awards. They are the ones that care. Pass this on to those
people who have made a difference in your life. "Don't
worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already
tomorrow in Australia." (Charles Schultz)
